Something exciting is coming soon... an exciting new website for Queensland Country Health Fund!

The new look site will be easier to use and will make finding information a lot easier too by bringing it all together in a single place. 

The site is designed to make it easier to get to information and is fully responsive to modify the layout for desktop, tablets and mobile phones. There are some slight changes to the way Members access information - we've consolidated the site into three sections instead of six - information for new Members is primarily under "Cover options" (like the old site), information for both new and existing Members is primarily under "Member benefits" and a new section called "Help centre" brings together a collection of helpful information plus FAQs to try and make understanding health insurance a bit easier.

Changes on the new site

We're also rolling out a new way of choosing the right product for you which calculates the price that applies to you, including Lifetime Health Cover loading if this will apply to you.

Below you'll see some screenshots of the product selector/calculator and application process.

From the home page or the selector page, choose who you want to cover (e.g. single/couple/family/single parent family) and your location. On the selector page, you can also update your personal information to reflect the rebate and lifetime health cover loading, and then compare and choose the hospital cover and extras cover that is most suitable.

Once you've selected the appropriate product, you move onto the "Cover Review" page, which provides full details on what's included under that cover.

Application form

Once you're happy, you can progress to the application form. The form is designed to be conditional, that is, you only need to answer questions that apply to your circumstances. You can choose to set up direct debit, BPAY or pay by credit card to complete the application.

What's not changing? 

Online Member Services will stay the same for the time being - you can still login or register using your membership number, update your details and claim online for most extras services.

We're excited for the changes and welcome your feedback when the new site goes live.
