As a Queensland Country Health policyholder you may be able to take advantage of our Access Gap Cover facilities. Under the scheme, participating medical practitioners, who provide services in hospitals, can decide to accept up to the Queensland Country Health access gap fee as a full settlement of the account. The doctor can also accept the access gap fee as part payment, and will inform you of the gap – we call this the Known Gap.
