Originally established in 1977 as MIM Employees Health Society, the fund was created to assist Members in protecting themselves against the potential financial burden of hospital and extras charges. In January 1999 Queensland Country Credit Union took over the Management Rights of the MIM Employees Health Society and since then the fund has been trading as Queensland Country Health Ltd.
